Gareth J Johnson, University of Leicester – Chair

Gaz J Johnson, UKCoRR Chair
Gareth has been working with research repositories since 2006; firstly at Nottingham as part of the SHERPA team and more recently at the University of Leicester. He manages the document supply, respository and copyright teams at the David Wilson Library and has published numerous articles, blog posts and book chapters on a variety of LIS areas. he is also a frequent and highly engaging public speaker across a broad range of topics.  Currently he is also Chair of the Forum for Interlending (FIL) and sits on the Repository and Curation Shared Infrastructure (JISCrcsi) Oversight Group as the UKCoRR representative.

Jackie Wickham, University of Nottingham – Secretary


Jackie Wickham is Project Coordinator (Repositories Support Project) based at the Centre for Research Communications at the University of Nottingham. The Project supports the development of open access repositories for research outputs in UK universities and research centres.

Dominic Tate, Royal Holloway University of London – External Liaison Officer


Dominic Tate oversees the maintenance of the website and the production of publicity materials. Dominic is the Repository & Digital Assets Manager at Royal Holloway University of London. He has a number of years’ experience in the the fields of institutional repositories and open access publishing including co-ordinating the Repositories Support Project (RSP) while working in the Centre for Research Communications.  He sits on the EThOS Board as the UKCoRR representative.

Nick Sheppard, Leeds Metropolitan University – Technical Officer


Nick Sheppard is Repository Development Officer at Leeds Metropolitan University and has a wide range of expertise in repository development comprising a sound technical knowledge base, he has a proven track record in appropriate communication to raise awareness and effect cultural change around repository use.

Paul Stainthorp, University of Lincoln – Web & Publicity Officer


Paul Stainthorp works at the University of Lincoln, managing that university’s electronic library resources and systems, including the Lincoln Repository. Paul’s role in the committee is to develop the relationship between UKCoRR and other organisations working in repository management & development, publishing & OA, research support, academia and librarianship.
